South Korea confirmed 35 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday, mostly linked to someone who went to clubs and bars earlier this month in the Seoul neighborhood of Itaewon, which is known for its nightlife.

That brings the total number of cases related to this Itaewon cluster to 89.

No new COVID-19 deaths have been reported for four consecutive days.

South Korea's Central Disease Control Headquarters now advises people who've lost their sense of taste or smell, or have muscle aches or headaches to get tested.

Meanwhile, some students are set to go back to their schools this Wednesday.

After an emergency meeting this afternoon with the health authorities, the education ministry will announce whether that will go ahead in a briefing this evening.

13일 부터 개학을 준비하고 있는 학생들과 관련하여 유은혜 교육부 장관은 KCDC와 긴급 회의를 진행하여 개학여부를 발표할 예정이라고 합니다.
